  • Habit on tall stalk at Kalahaku Haleakala National Park, Maui, USA (Hawaiian Is.). September 24, 2006.Argyroxiphium sandwicense subs. macrocephalum (A.Gray) Meyrat: has a broader inflorescence less than 4 times as long as wide. Ray florets 11-42. Distribution island of Maui on the Haleakalā.
