Subspecies, varieties, forms and cultivars of plants belonging to the Pachypodium densiflorum group

• Pachypodium densiflorum Baker: (var. densiflorum) Has sessile leaves, ± 5 mm long pedicels and 5-7(9.5) x 3 mm long sepals. Distribution: Southern, central and northern Madagascar.
• Pachypodium densiflorum var. albiflorum hort.: Has white flowers. Cultivated.
• Pachypodium densiflorum var. brevicalyx H.Perrier: Has short petioles, 15-25 mm pedicel and 1 x 2 mm wide sepals. Distribution: slightly north west of the south-central locus of var. densiflorum.
• Pachypodium densiflorum f. cristata Baker: Crested form. Cultivated.
