The true Turbina holubiiSN|29180]]SN|29180]] (Turbina holubiiSN|29180]]SN|29180]]) is a shrub 0.8-2.50 meres high, many-stemmed from the base and much branched. Branches laying flat on the ground or climbing at the tips. Leaves deciduous ovate-cordate to circular-cordate, sometimes oblong cordate. Flowers are pink. The seed pods of all Turbina are distinguished by having leathery seedpods, and although some Ipomoea may have 'leathery type' pods, very leathery pods are a major feature of the genus Turbina.
