Origin and Habitat: It's typical of the coastal jungle and endemic of Cuba

SPANISH (Español): Flor de Copa, Cimarron
Description: It's a treelike cactus, robus and very branched, it can reach up to 15 m of height, and its trunk reaches 1.20 m of diameter.
Flowers: The flower petals go from the white to the pale pink
Fruits: Numerous with many small seeds, pear-shaped and the size of an avocado-looking-like.
Notes: It is a plant of slow growth, but very long lived. At the Ecologic Reserve Varahicacos is found the oldest sample of Cuba which is called the "Patriarca" with more than 500 years.
