  • Ferocactus diguetii (F.A.C.Weber) Britton & Rose: Ferocactus diguetii is the largest of all of the genus Ferocactus and reaches 4 m tall and may grow almost 1 m in diameter. Origin: Islands off the east coast of Baja California Sur.
  • Ferocactus diguetii subs. carmenensis (G.E.Linds.) F.Wolf & R.Wolf: Deminute form with globose to cylindrical stems, "only" 1 m high and 40 cm in diameter. Distribution: it is rare and occurs only on Carmen Island.
  • Ferocactus diguetii f. variegatus (Hybrid) hort.
